I have defended my PhD at ENS Paris-Saclay on February 9th 2026, carried out in partnership with EDF R&D, the Centre Borelli and the LISN. My thesis, Hybrid prognostics using simulation codes and statistical models - Application to the study of steam generators clogging, dealt with developing hybrid frameworks to support uncertainty-aware digital twins of complex nuclear power plant systems to support maintenance planning.

I would like to address my sincere gratitude to my supervisors, Prof. Dr. Mathilde Mougeot and Dr. Didier Lucor, for their support and advice throughout this journey. I’m also grateful to my industrial supervisors and colleagues at EDF Labs Chatou, Dr. Vincent Chabridon and Emmanuel Remy for their guidance.

Many thanks are due to the reviewers, Prof. Dr. Eleni Chatzi and Prof. Dr. Béatrice Laurent-Bonneau, for their insightul questions and comments, and to the examinators: Prof. Dr. Josselin Garnier (president), Dr. Pietro Marco Congedo, Prof. Dr. Claudia Schillings and Prof. Dr. Emmanuel Vazquez for their time and questions.
